                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 4135
                   CUMMINGS ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   CUMMINGS ROAD SOUTHEAST OF CUMMINGS HIGHWAY
                   FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND R-2 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 4135 Cummings Road,
                being on the northeast line of Cummings Road
                southeast of Cummings Highway.  Tract 1, Asbury
                Center, Lookout Valley Subdivision, as shown by
                plat of record in plat book 52, pages 97-1, 97-2,
                and 97-3, ROHC; being the property described in
                deed book 4311, page 40, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 153-27
                (part).                    
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone and R-2 Residential Zone to R-4 
Special
         Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
